Keeping at it

Well I left my workout clothes at home and on the way to work decided I would just skip the club, but that is how it always starts for me, so Over my lunch hour I zipped home picked up my workout stuff and headed back.

Big thanks to Josh Yoshi for the heads up on new ear buds for the i-pod. the Shure isolation buds are great, I don't think they will ever fall out, now I just hope I don't blow out my ear drums lol

I think Mondays will be the official weigh in day. Yep, I have just decided Monday mornings, other than that I am not touching a scale.

I am thinking I may even try and get up on vacation and work out a little bit.

So this is a big step for me, fought through the inkling to not work out and I think made the right choice.

I makes me wonder....

I wonder if being a "good boy" all week and then living like a hellian on the weekends is really a plan for success.

Probably not.

At least it is 5 pretty good days against 2 bad ones, unlike before. Back at it this week.


A friend at work ran the Des Moines Marathon Sunday. Big ups to you Tammy, I am in awe!

BAM!

Wow, 3 times this week. ON A ROLL. Although it isn't much it is a start.

26 minutes on the elliptical

25 on the treadmill

quite a few calories burned up I think

now the bad:
Just like Jamie B, I too headed to Old Chicago to finish up my mini tour, but I was able to do mine with a sampler. That got me a t-shirt YEAH! and it was my 55th beer so that got me a t-shirt too YEAH, but she brought me a hat instead BOO I asked if they switched the 55th ad 85th beer awards she said no BOO she messed up YEAH did I want the t-shirt instead? YEAH long story short (too late) I got the mini tour shirt YEAH the 55th beer shirt YEAH and because it was already on my head I got the 85th beer shirt too YEAH!

all good things but not as good as sister Cas getting 47 free beers during beer or no beer on Wednesday. That was SWEET! And to thnk I told her to say "NO DEAL" HA what does the math major know?!?!?

2 in a row

well back to the club again (after bowling... went 2 and 2).

Two days in a row, Maybe I deserve a break lol maybe I'll take Wednesday off.

Have to admit, I bought a foot long sub with the intention of having 6" for lunch and the rest for dinner, had it all for lunch it was good.

Wondering what the difference will be adding working out to tryign to eat better.... hey I have had fries or a tenderloin in a week and a half

hhhmmmmm

I am thinking that if they tested my blood it would either be gravy, jell-o, or chocolate.

Well I did it, went to the club, "ran" on the elliptical, rode the bike for a bit, and sweated a lot. The new I-pod was great, I think I would like some more athletic ear buds, the ones that came with the pod don't stay in so great for me.

So let's see.... sweated, ate right, drank water, took vitamins. bet I lost 10 pounds lol Still go to sleep way WAY too late, and work is more than a tad stressful right now, and the Cyclones suck. But everything else is going pretty good.

Not sure how to use this, or if anyone even gives a damn. I think it is just a running reminder for me to keep at it.

I have realized a few things:
  • fat cam needs to not be so fat
  • in a month I am going to start lifting again
  • i think i am going to try and run dam-2-dam

OK

Started writing down everything I eat. Wow, want a good way to quit snacking and over eating? Write down what you eat, and be honest about it. It will make you sick when you think about what you would be eating if you weren't keeping track of it.

Loaded up "workout music" onto my new I-pod my parents got me. Never had and MP3 player before, but I do know that I move better to sound.

So I guess what I am saying is this is it, I am going to start working out *gasp*

Don't pray for fat cam, he is already dead......

How I see it

This is going to me my running (joke kind of intended) story of my life, and trying to lose some fat. Maybe at some point I really will be able to run. Some how I have ended up in a Spam Blog status not really sure how or why that is, but I hope it to be gone soon. Not sure how I am going to use this yet... I think maybe as a reminder of what I really did that day food and working out.

Plan right now:
October: eat right
November: eat right and work on cardio
December: eat right work on cardio and start lifting again
January: See where I am and reevaluate the how/where/why
